Mary Anne Monje Named CEO of Whittier Hospital Medical Center
Whittier, Calif. -- Mary Anne Monje has been named Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Whittier Hospital Medical Center.
Mary Anne Monje most recently served as the CFO/COO for Whittier Hospital and has more than 20 years of healthcare executive experience in leadership roles. Ms. Monje is succeeding Richard Castro who served as hospital chief executive officer and has accepted a CEO position for a healthcare entity in the Northern California area. Under Mr. Castro's leadership, Whitter Hospital exceeded its financial expectations, along with its quality and safety standards ensuring the highest level of quality of care to the communities it serves.
Mary Anne Monje's extensive experience makes her the ideal executive to lead Whittier Hospital in the current ever-changing and challenging healthcare environment. Her proven track record and extensive experience in finance and operational management will add to the strong foundation already in place at Whittier Hospital.
