Garfield Medical Center recently held a community event focused on STROKE AWARENESS. Hospital doctors and staff, as well as firefighters and paramedics from the Alhambra Fire Department, gave important information on the signs and symptoms of a stroke, as well as what immediate actions should be taken in the event of a stroke. Visitors also learned about the state-of-the-art surgical procedures and amazing technology being employed by Garfield to treat strokes.
