General Information
Visitors Policy
To reduce possible exposure to COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses, the public health department has advised Parkview Community Hospital Medical Center to take precautionary measures in order to secure the safety of our patients, staff, and visitors. Since it is difficult to determine who may be contagious - people can be contagious without prior knowledge of the incident and not show symptoms right away - these policy restrictions are applied to all visitors and hospital inpatient units until further notice. We recognize that this may cause some hardship to our patients and their families and ask for your patience and understanding. We would be remiss if we did not take steps to help minimize the spread of serious illness. Thank you for your cooperation in helping to protect the safety of our patients. Maternity Patients and NICU parents: Please see updates below for information on the entrance we have provided for you and your support person.
Our visitors policy may be subject to change based on hospital status and/or guidance from the California Department of Public Health.
